Norcross

Blu House Market
OK, we started small.  Norcross is about 2 blocks long and just a smidge outside the Atlanta perimeter.  We started at the Blu House Market for a local breakfast. It was cute and they offered local produce and house-cured bacon, but Deb thought the biscuit was cold and it was too 'dry'. (She'll say this a lot).

Norcross has some pretty parks, including one with a nice waterfall fountain.

The main street had a few cute stores

And the Taste of Britain had some really cool stuff, like royal wedding tea cups and the queen's jubilee goodies- even some Brit-food.

Beautiful jewelry store in Norcross.  Anna Balkan.  She's from Ukraine and sells her jewelry over the internet, but this is her studio.

Dinner was at Dominck's Italian restaurant.  The half-portions were large enough for a small family.  Serious leftovers.

Frou-frou antique stores rounded out the block.

Oh!  And a cool Hindu temple on the way outta town.

We came up with the name 'Two Old Ladies on the Road'.  We promised to find a new place each weekend.  And a dropped a chocolate ice cream in the parking lot of the Hindu temple.  Deb made me feel bad that some little girl would step in it on her way to temple.
